HTML <cite> tagSyntax<cite> - </cite> Definition and UsageThe CITE element is used to markup citations, such as titles of newspapers, names, references to other sources, and quotation attributions. Visual browsers typically render CITE as italic text, but authors can suggest a rendering using style sheets.
